On Dec. 18, Royd and I, Ryan, Alex and Will left Burgos at 4am, with the intention of walking 44 kilometers south to Dapa Port.

We passed Baybay and Pacifico, towns that had been leveled by the typhoon. The highway through these towns was impassable
